Get Testnet Funds
To participate in the Horizon DAO Testnet, you will need two essential tokens:
Mumbai MATIC covers the gas fees required for transactions, while Mock USDT allows you to simulate real-world transactions within the Horizon DAO environment.
MATIC Faucet (Mumbai)
Once you have connected to the Mumbai testnet, head over to the official faucet for free test tokens.
Paste your wallet address in the Wallet Address field, and select the token to receive — you can receive MATIC or other test tokens. Ensure that you are selecting Mumbai.
Click Submit and then click confirm. You should receive free test tokens in your wallet after a couple of minutes.
USDT Faucet (Horizon DAO)
Go to https://testnet.horizon-dao.io/
Click on "Connect"
Click "Sign up" to sign a message and create an account
Click on "EARN FREE USDT"
You should receive free test tokens in your wallet after a couple of seconds.
If the tokens are not visible in your MetaMask wallet assets list, follow the instruction below to manually import the token contract:
